We wil be performing at the Barrie Legion (St Vincent St) as part of their New Years Day Levee
The Parade will start at Peacekeepers Park at 10:00am and travel along Mill Street to the Angus Recreation Centre, where refreshments will be provided at no cost along with a visit with Santa.
Band members will meet in the LCBO Parking lot.
Parade route starts at Peacekeepers Park and travels down Mill St. to the Angus Recreation Centre. Refreshments and a visit with Santa Clause to follow the parade.
Alliston Potato Festival Parade. details will be provided as we get closer to the event
9:00am meet up time at former Canadian Tire parking lot, 14760 Yonge St, Aurora. This meeting spot is where the parade ends. There is a shuttle that will take us to the staging area of the parade.
Stepping off at 10 a.m., the parade will go along Yonge Street travelling south from Mosley Street to Murrary Drive.
Adopt a Class
For the last 4 years Ron Brown has been involved with an Adopt a Class Program with the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic School Board. One hour per week for 10 weeks each spring he would attend a class of grade 2 / 3's and provide some instruction on keeping a beat and rhythm to music.
The last class of the 10 week program is a showcase of the skills the students have learned. Family members of the students as well as the other classes at the school attend the show.

Band members should plan for a full day workshop.
Piers will work with Ellen Mole. Dan and Jen Bist will work with the Drum corps.
All members are welcome. Focus will be placed on March Medley and Competition Medley.
Band to arrive no later than 8:45 am

Band members shoudl plan for a full day workshop led by Kris and Ellen Mole
Kris will be leading a Full Band workshop on this day that will have special guest Experts on hand to work with the entire band.
The event will take place at the Barrie legion.
Please be prepared to be available for the full day. Please speak with your respective section leads to understand their expectations.

The Annual Rotary Potato Festival Parade will begin at 7pm sharp on Friday August 11th from Banting Memorial High School and proceed along Victoria Street.
This is a Private party for the band where we will celebrate the success of the band as well as honour those who have gone above and beyond.
Open to all BPD members, students, and family.
It will be a potluck, with Camping, Ceilidh and who knows what else.

The parade will depart from Tiffin and Lakeshore, heading straight up Tiffin to Bradford Street. We will then head North on Bradford to Dunlop, then through Downtown Barrie, where we will be part of the Downtown Barrie Tree Lighting festivities!

Parade steps off from Yonge and Mosely Dr (near the Library) at 10 am sharp. This is a new and much shorter Route
Please arrive for 9:15-9:30 in the Canadian Tire parking Lot at Murray Drive and Yonge Street.
There will be shuttle buses to take you to the start of the parade.
The band will parade the Survivors around the gorunds
